I’m excited about the move, but it will take me a little while to put things in order. For now it’s bland, but functional. I will be clicking back to the old site and gazing longingly at my sweet little diary girl until I import my template to WordPress (that’s my new blog platform). Today I imported all of my old posts and comments. Sadly, I lost my categories, but they were a mess anyway–too many, and I never categorized all my old posts after blogger went beta. I decided I would get my own domain name after I finished the Love-Me-Knots website, sort of a carrot I’ve dangled in front of my nose the past few months.
While importing my comments, I learned who my top commenters are, and I want to take a moment to say thanks. I would blog even if I never got a comment, but I sure wouldn’t enjoy it as much. You ladies are true friends, and I hope to “import” you to My Home Sweet Home Online, as well as your comments.
