My friend Randi at “i have to say…” has opened a craft store called Simple Things. The picture on the left shows my daughter, Chloe, and I sporting one of Randi’s mother/daughter apron sets.
You should have heard the oohs and aahs when we opened the package – these are so beautiful! My 10- and 7-year-old daughters immediately began to argue over who would be my next kitchen helper. We’ve had to adopt a rotating schedule because they both want to wear the apron.
The funny thing is how upset we were when the aprons did their job: protect our clothes while cooking. I think we were much more troubled by getting food on the aprons than if we’d gotten food on our clothes. We washed and dried (and later ironed) them immediately! We’ve now accepted that we have to be practical and just enjoy the aprons and let them do their job.
Check out Randi’s new craft store, Simple Things!
How cute you girls look!

I heard you talking about these on Sunday. They are so cute! I love the site.
How cute!!!!!
I love the aprons and I love wearing my dark red apron. It makes me feel so womanly. There I said it. Enjoy those cute aprons.
So darling! Everything on her site is super cute. I loved the aprons and the “Higo” bag. Thanks for the recomendation.
🙂
How sweet! There are work aprons and serving aprons. Your apron is too pretty to be a work apron!
You two look great! I always work with an apron. I think it has to do with memories of my mum wearing an apron. (Now you’ve tempted me to post about that). Enjoy!
