On a road near our house there is a large chicken coop close to the street. On a good day we pass with barely a whiff to remind us it’s there. On a bad day it’s an olfactory assault. Today was a bad day.
When the stink hit us, I looked at my 16-year-old son in the passenger’s seat. We shared a grimace, then a pained laugh, and then covered our noses as best we could. A few moments later, I heard my 4-year-old daughter sitting 2 seats behind me say, “Something smells like noodles!” I looked at my son and said, “That smells worse than any noodles I’ve ever had!” to which he shrugged and replied, “I guess we know what she thinks of your cooking.”

Y’just gotta love kids!

Loved This!! I am a very sad individual though….If we get somewhere where a skunk has been my hubby will plug his nose and I sadly do not (unless it is right now fresh). I love the smells of the country (even though I was raised in the city). I love wet hay, animal areas and such. How sad am I??? (No need to answer that as I get lots of opinions on that already)
