My husband snapped this shot during a family vacation to Florida in ’02. We stood on the beach tossing popcorn, as seagulls hovered around us and snatched it out of the air. It was an awesome experience that the kids wanted to repeat daily.

Beautiful shot! That’s so cool. I was shooting (with a camera) ducks and geese today at a local lake. None of them made it to my blog (yet); just my son. :D

Wow! That birdy is a little close for me, unless that’s a zoom lens. Can you tell I have been a former target? Better warn hubby not to stand that close with his mouth open!

I love the beach — when I used to have to walk a mile to school every day I used to wish I was a bird so I could fly a straight line I still like going in straight lines to places:>
We also have many Seagulls out West and ours look just like your picture! However, we did find out that in Texas they have black heads, very nice too :)
