Wordless Wednesday: Motorcycling Bear

by Dawn on July 8, 2008

in Wordless Wednesday

Driving through town yesterday I spotted a bear driving a motorcycle (and I believe he was wearing a headset microphone). Fortunately my son was driving, enabling me to frantically grab my camera bag from the back seat and get a few shots when we reached a traffic light.

Here’s the bear waving at another car:

Here’s a shot of the trailer he was pulling, that interestingly enough said “Please Stand Clear” on the side and had a stuffed Tigger peeking out the window.

This isn’t one of those everyday kind of shots (at least it isn’t for me) so I’m glad I had my camera!

That’s something to see all right. I can’t imagine how hot it was inside of that bear costume. Oy.

LOL! That is really funny!

I *LOVE* the new background. Its so bright and reminds me of sherbet… speaking of which… I am going to go get some right now!

I really do like it though! :D

Love,
Miss Amanda

What a sight to see! Good thing you had your camera with you. I have also learned to carry mine in the back seat. The moment I leave without it, I always miss something really cool.

Very cool shots. Did you ever find out who he/she was? Looks like there’s a clown or something in the window of the trailer too. Fascinating. An entertaining mystery. I like the little stuffed bear with the American flag on the back of the go cart thing too. Very funny.

Hi Dawn, Thanks for visiting. I thought I’d pop back and sort of answer your question about how the duck can fly. We were surprised. He looked like he might be injured with the feather sticking out so my friend was checking him out while I was photographing him. Finally he flew back to the water but well apart from the other ducks which made me think they had picked on him. Hopefully he’ll be ok. Happy Wednesday!

That was a weird thing to see. Hopefully it was colder outside that day too, because if I were to see that here right now-I would be worried for the bear. I think it’s way too hot for him to be up and walking around!

Dawn,

This is EXACTLY why you always always ALWAYS need to keep a camera with you at all times! Wouldn’t you have been so disappointed if you had missed it??

And no…this ISN’T something you see everyday!

(Did you get all your Twitter questions answered??)
