This blog is powered by WordPress, sweet tea, gummy bears, Nikon, Photoshop, Lightroom, and bloggable moments provided by my husband and our eight children. I hope it substitutes in some small way for incomplete baby books and unfilled photo albums.

My web design business is Barefoot Blog Designs, and I write for The Homeschool Post, Homeschool Bliss, and Heart of the Matter. I photoblog, and my friend Melissa and I help little girls look their best with Love-Me-Knots.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Wordless Wednesday: Summer Toes, part 3

August 19, 2008

Last Friday my buddy Melissa emailed me and said, “forget about sponsers. . .more importantly when are you getting your toes done!!???”  (For my Photoshop World sponsor story go here, here, and here).  See, Melissa knows that I have an addiction to summer toes.  I cut all the hair in this house with the exception of my own and occasionally one of my daughter’s, so this is one of the few indulgences I allow myself.

Within a few short hours, Melissa and I were sitting side by side having our toes done by what I call the “Van Goghs of Toes.”  These women are true artists, and I am fascinated watching them in action.

Check out my other WW on my photoblog!

How cute! I love getting my toes done also. When I first found out I was pregnant I asked the ladies to paint babies on my toes, they did but looked like snowmen. I laughed so hard I did leave them on, but noone “got it” why I had snowmen painted on my toes in May! I wish I had taken a picture.
