Dear Dawn,

I was leaving a comment about your bright green paint and saw this through the Link Within. Oh my goodness, I don’t quite know what to say.

The days and weeks after Christian’s passing were crazy– emotions, people, hurricanes… I don’t know if I ever stopped by to say THANK YOU.

Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for shedding tears for our family. Thank you for caring for me– someone you have never even met! Words can’t adequately express just how much I appreciate the outpouring of love–I literally have hundreds of cards from people all over the bloggy (and literal) world.

I have been quite emotional these past couple of months– but through it all, God has been ever faithful, ever constant, and ever loving. I rejoice in Him even when it’s hard.

And man oh man, I cannot wait to get to Heaven– just think how much more fun and amazing it’s going to be up there!!!

I have been sick about this since last night. Sick. I have also been seeing more of Caleb today. Really seeing him and holding him and Isaac and Loo and crying for the Drews. It is too hard. I know God is there and I know beyond a shadow that He is holding them, but it is so much to bear. I am glad that Lily is safe. Eric lost his footing in the pool in NM, and I reached and got him, but it can happen so quickly. All my love and prayers to David, Marshy and their boys.
