Nice perspective. The crossing beams make a nifty pattern, don’t they? I’m still trying to figure out what the shingles are attached to, other than each other, and the occasional board. It just doesn’t look like enough support… But I don’t build bridges, so what do I know?

Great tones and textures in that rafters shot. Was that taken in the attic, the barn, the boat house, or ???

I used to live in a tiny converted chicken coop that had exposed rafters like that. I loved the ambiance, but didn’t care for the spiders – who ADORED the rafters!

I love this shot. There’s something peaceful about exposed structure. How lucky that you got to see such a bridge…there aren’t any left in my neck of the woods.

Hope you’ll pop by and see my WW contribution this week. It’s a waaaay different theme than yours, but it’ll get your abstract-photo mind going all the same.

With Halloween fast approaching you just reminded me of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. ;)

Nice shot, covered bridges are becoming a thing of the past sadly.

Oh, I really like this shot. I love the perspective. So, this is sort of like a 2-fer for Thematic Photographic – angles, as in lines intersecting, and angles, as in a different perspective :) Great photo!

Very cool shot. Unique angle (for Thematic Photographic’s purposes) but just an overall great shot.

I love covered bridges… I have some photos of one in Gaspe, Quebec that I took looking to the inside… it never dawned on me to look up and take a photo of the beams. A great angles shot, I enjoyed.

How pretty, several years ago the boy toy and I made it our mission to hit as many covered bridges in NH/VT as we could during a vacation. Each one was better than the last. Perfect angles
