My younger son spent six years in various bands in middle and high school (and at various camps) and is in his junior year as a Music Ed major. Eventually you may find him on the sidelines with his own band on the field. Color guards often are overlooked in high school bands. It's not until you get into nationally recognized programs or something like DCI where color guards are recognized as an integral part of the ensemble. Great shot here. The HS band looks good! I can’t say I was real impressed when I visited one of our home games and watched the band and flags at half time.

I like flag blur. A little blur goes a long way to showing an action shot. :)
