Homeschool Library Builder

One of the coolest things about being a member of the The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool Crew is finding out about new homeschool resources such as Homeschool Library Builder. Here’s a little info from their website about what they sell:

We stock new and used, hardcover and softcover titles. Most of our new titles are publisher’s remainders and overstocks. Our used books are rated by condition and priced accordingly. Most of our used titles are in very good or better condition. Additionally, we are always on the lookout for hard-to-find or out-of-print titles.

Here are some neat discoveries I found about the site:

Search by Curriculum
Search for books used in Ambleside, Beautiful Feet, Five in a Row, Sonlight, Veritas, or Tapestry of Grace curricula.

Bargain Bins
Through the month of November, dig through the bargain bins! $1 bin, $2 bin, $3 bin, and $5 bin

Pay by PayPal
I’m a big fan of PayPal, and love sites that offer it as a payment option.

Here are some book deals I found:

Madeline and the Gypsies (new–Publisher’s remainder), price $2.00 (save 67%)

The Horse and His Boy (condition: very good), $2.00 (save 71%)

A Picture Book of Harriet Beecher Stowe (ex-library hardcover, like new), $5.00 (save 72%)

Homeschool Library Builder appears to live up to what its name implies. They carry a good selection, including out-of-print books, for a good price.

Dawn, small world… Gayla, who runs HSLB, is the mother of Claire’s lifelong best friend… as in best friends since they were infants! Gayla is one of my favorite people.
