This week’s theme for Thematic Photographic is “shadow.” I immediately thought of this picture I took of my 7-year-old son at our recent mother/son outing and camping trip. It was freezing cold, but he’s standing barefooted in a creek at night in shorts and a t-shirt. Am I the only one whose children are oblivious to cold?

And my 6 year old would have been standing right beside him in that freezing cold water if he could have. :) It would be dangerous if we got those two together!
