Don’t laugh. My daughter fell and busted her lip, so I spent the late afternoon/early evening at emergency care with her; it was my son’s 14th birthday, so I had a movie date with him after I got home. A late bedtime arrived and alas, I had no Project 365. This photo is of the washing machine running in the dark, one of the last things I do before going to bed (run the washer, not take pictures of it).

I grabbed the camera, turned around, and took some shots of the kids so that I wouldn’t post this without a picture from today. I like this one.

Great photos! Hope your baby girl’s lip is healing well and that she’s not hurting. OUCH.
I think that’s the coolest looking washing machine I’ve ever seen. Then again, I’m not the one rebooting it. ;)

And rain? What is that? Haven’t seen any in a very long time. A little snow occasionally, but that’s about it. Mostly dry, dry, dry.

Dianne, yes, it’s an LG HE Steam Washer. I’m actually sort of obsessive about laundry, so my husband indulged me on this (plus, we got a super deal at the Sears scratch and dent store on the set).
We’ve actually had a decent amount of rain lately, which is great considering we’ve been in a drought for over a year and a half.
Lily’s lip is getting better, but she told me last night: “I like big brownies, but I can’t eat big brownies now.” Like mother, like daughter.
Christian and I saw Paul Blart: Mall Cop, which was actually better than I expected (not difficult, since I expected it to be horrible!). :-)
She is so pretty….busted lip and all. Breaks my heart a little! We’ve had many a busted lip around our house as well. Total bummer on kissing them, huh?
