When I recently decided to accessorize my camera with a new strap, I knew that not just any would do. A Google search for “cool camera straps” led me to My Funky Camera. The search was over almost as soon as it began. Why look any further with straps this gorgeous?
I chose the Andalucia Love Birds, which is actually the one in the first slide above, attached to the camera. It arrived the day of the Yanni Voices concert; I was excited about taking my new strap out on the town! Here’s a picture I took after the concert showing the strap and backstage concert pass.
The biggest surprise was the back of the strap, which is covered in a soft black fabric with raised dots. It reminds me of a plush baby blanket, and that’s what it feels like against my neck.
I love using my camera anyway, but now I get an extra thrill when I open the bag and see my new strap.
Gabi at My Funky Camera also sells wristlets in the same gorgeous fabrics. I see one in my future! ;-)

Does it just slip over your current camera strap or is it a whole new strap? I have one that slips over now and it keeps twisting and driving me nuts! :)

Jolanthe, it’s an entirely new strap. I just removed the old one and replaced with this one. She also sells a quick release set (http://www.myfunkycamera.com/store/WsDefault.asp?One=123) if you like to switch out straps.
