I’m a Purex Insider! (plus the videos you probably won’t see on TV)

I am one of 200 moms across the country who have been designated as “Purex Insiders” and given advance samples of a new laundry detergent that will be in stores later this month, Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets. As an “Insider,” I not only test the product but have the opportunity to be featured in the ad campaign.

My Insiders packet arrived two weeks ago while I was preparing for my son’s high school graduation. I wanted to do my review and video “right,” so I didn’t test the detergent until later in the week when I had time to concentrate (and time to do laundry, period!).

I attached the Flip Video to my tabletop tripod and sat it on a table, snatching moments when the house was quiet (no small feat) to do the before and after videos. Later when I saw them, I literally groaned. And then I laughed. And then I quit watching because it was too painful.

Dark videos, the top of my head cut off, goofy, goofy, goofy – I think the only place you’re seeing these videos is right here! You’re free to laugh with me, or at me, or whatever, because you will laugh.

The detergent, though? Brilliant. Detergent, fabric softener, and anti-static are all combined in skinny little sheets that travel with your clothes from washer to dryer. This is perfect for a large household like mine where lots of people are doing their laundry. There’s nothing to measure, pour, or forget to add.
