My kids are goofballs.
We were at the ball park recently and I was playing with lens flare (obviously this is not something I practice very often). The kids were looking on the back of the camera and laughing at my attempts to obliterate my son’s face (not that it wasn’t covered with a baseball glove, anyway).
Next he challenged me to take it a step further and this is what we got. I have absolutely no idea what my oldest daughter is doing here.
Do you like lens flare? Do you use it? Have you ever attempted to shoot it from someone’s underarm?

it’s just not somethings you can practice whenever you want…slave to the conditions of the weather right.

I love sun flare but am very sorry at being able to create it. I saw a post by boybariandad about it and think that I need to try using my kit lens instead of my 50mm 1.4G. What lens are you using? Any tips?

Marsha, I think I saw that post once upon a time, too…
I was using my 50mm f/1.8. Maybe that was my problem?
