UPDATED: David Oakleaf and The Open Road Wants Your Vote, and a CD Giveaway

I am shameless asking for a favor for David Oakleaf and the Open Road. David is not only a talented up-and-coming country music singer, he’s my cousin’s boyfriend and our family has grown to love him. David is down to the finals in a big competition to play the main stage at the Country Stampede at the end of June.

I promise that voting is easy and would be greatly appreciated.

Just follow this link and scroll to the bottom, where it says “VOTE HERE.” You’ll be asked for a minimal amount of information, and don’t have to create an account or receive any additional correspondence.

There will be two songs played in random order. His is listed as David Oakleaf and The Open Road with their song “One Step Closer.” When it asks, “Does this song sound familiar?” you would choose yes, and then click the spots for saying “This is the winner!” and “Please play this song all the time!” You would have to click “No, this song doesn’t sound familiar” for the other song and then submit your vote.

I really think the questions are kind of odd, but that’s how it’s done…
