31 Days of Encouragement - Day ?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
~Matthew 22:37-40

31 Days of EncouragementHow does this work online?

One way that I’ve decided to more intentionally embrace loving my neighbor is to become better both at commenting and linking to others who inform or inspire me (link love). I hope to do that both in posts and through my Delicious bookmarks, which now will show up in my blog feed.

Here is a big thank you to the top 5 individual sites (not group blogs) which referred visitors here in 2010.

Top 5 Referrers for 2010

  1. Life with the Ferrells
  2. A Holy Experience
  3. The Nester
  4. A Familiar Path
  5. Sprittibee

Thank you so very, very much.

In 2011, I want to be intentional to love others online better. In previous years I was better at this. But last year I slipped into a pattern of posting only. And every once in a couple weeks I would try to visit others and comment. I got so behind and overwhelmed. I trust God will give me the grace to do this. Loving others is key.

On another note, I do NOT understand the delicious bookmarks thing but I need to learn. I appreciate Ann’s links she shares so often.

Tiffany, I’ve used delicious for years, but just recently added them to my Feedburner feed. You’ll need a delicious account. I have added their buttons to my firefox toolbar for easy access. In feedburner, choose the “optimize” tab and then Link Splicer on the left. Select “delicious” and then add your username so it can find your links. That’s it!
