Between feeling sick this week, the continued job hunt for my husband, and a big project I’m working on, I forgot Wednesday, May 31, was my 11th blog anniversary until I saw it in the On This Day feature on Facebook.
Happy birthday, My Home Sweet Home!
Do you ever forget to stop and smell the flowers—literally? That’s where I’ve been lately.
Today I took our dog out to do his business and noticed our hydrangeas were in full bloom (see the bottom of this post); our magnolia trees had flowers in all stages; and our gardenia bush is an explosion of fragrant white blossoms.
I took the dog inside and grabbed my camera. It’s June 1st and time for a new desktop calendar!

Congratulations on your blogiversary, Dawn! That’s wonderful. How many years have you been writing the blog now? And how I love your beautiful books. They’re wonderful! Lynn, the blog hit 11 years on the 31st! This movie looks super suspenseful. When I watch those at home, I tend to hit pause and take a moment to breathe (or jump up and run to the bathroom!) to break the suspense. It makes my family crazy. 🙂
