Camera
The oldest photos on this site are using a Canon PowerShot Pro 90IS. Beginning in March of 2008, I used a Nikon D80. Today, August 12, 2009, I’m expecting the delivery of my new Nikon D700.
Buying this camera is a huge leap of faith. It says I will start a photography business. The scariest thing? My two most versatile lenses won’t work with this camera. I’ll be counting on my trusty 50mm f/1.8 and my 70-300mm f/4-5.6. My 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR will be sold along with my D80. I’ll be shooting with an expensive camera and a couple of cheap lenses for the time being. (Let me insert here that if you represent Nikon or a manufacturer of Nikon-compatible lenses and you want to sponsor me, I will review your product and plug your company like crazy!!!)
I have the world’s cutest small camera bag, which can be found here, but when I need to haul all of my stuff I use a Lowepro CompuDaypack or tuck my lenses and extras in my Shootsac.
